The ink drawing was one of many drawings I did at home. It is an example of dragon-like serpentine movement . I did paint a picture of a Chinese vase and the opinion of my otherwise wonderful art experience at High School was that I should not draw things from foreign cultures. These veterans of Korea were disturbed that I considered the Asian artifacts at home were my environment and I wanted to paint them.
