Paintings on silk and fiber in the 70's

Painting directly on fabric and sewing them into pillows my soft sculpture made a comment on being female. At another level my art for sale was intended to be soothing and improve the energy of interior spaces suitable for marketing in galleries. While selling my fiber work in an interior designers' gallery in Seattle, I wanted to raise my work out of tempestuous stormy work I did in college. Yet the linear drawing in my paintings there was the turning and twisting that is dragon-like. Fiber collage extended into my acrylic paintings on canvas and linen.
